Hi Everyone,
Whilst not exactly a painted effect, I deliberately created this with a painterly image in mind. It was a windy day, so the motion is natural, the BG is a white wall (had the flower positioned in a plamp) and I focussed in a vague sort of way and let the wind do the rest - if that makes any sense at all...:D
Curves adjustment in PP
1D Mk 3 Sigma 105 macro lens with stacked extension tubes
f/2.8 1/320
ISO 400
I have to say that this looks much nicer as a print, but...
Look forward to your C & C's.
Best to all,
Nicki

Nice image and application, Nicki.
Like the soft colors and the motion of the colors through the frame.

Nicki, The softness and the colors are very nice and I can see this fitting in well with your collection. I might crop a tiny bit from the top if it were mine. Lovely high key work.:)

Mark and Denise, thanks so much.
Denise, is this more what you had in mind? This is how I printed the image :)

Nicki, I also like the repost. I felt that there was a bit too much white area in the first, so the repost makes it perfect.
