Did some landscapes in HDR last weekend while camping at Peace River
Hey Oz.
I like the composition here. The HDR treatment seems to be a bit of a tweener to me. It is processed to the point that it is immediately recognizable as HDR but then is processed short of that "grunge" (which is what I often hear it referred to as) look that some folks love and others hate. I guess that is my way of saying that to my eye, it either needs some backing off to make it look less HDR-like or it needs more processing to bring out the grunge.
One other point. Is it just me (very possible) or does the river feel like it is leaning left? It looks to me like a little ccw rotation wouldn't hurt.
Just my thoughts for what they are worth.
Oscar, I agree it may need a rotation and Ed brings up some valid points. I am sure that because of the strong color tones that you meant to create an unrealistic HDR and they can be fun also. I like the way the branch frames the top of the image.
