Here's another of the reflection images I created yesterday when the sun came out ALL DAY! This one is a newly sprouting willow tree that I caught reflected on the pond below. I then added a slight Fractalius layer and changed the blend mode to "soft light" to further soften the effect.

Nice effect, if you hadn't said it was a reflection, I'd have thought you applied some kind of distortion effect on this image....well thought out, nice colors...TFS

Jules, I think it looks good. I am not crazy about the strip at the bottom but I do think it is needed as an anchor I might lighten it a bit -it seems to draw my eye too much. Others may feel differently. The top part is soft and dreamy and really shows off the Weeping Willow good.

Denise, it had more detail at the bottom in the original so I'll take another look and maybe remove more of the fract effect from down there. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Beautiful reflection, Julie. I love how the sprouting creates an illusion of a ripple effect.

Nice image and application, Jules.
Like the effect of the reflection and the near perfect (tree) image.

the reflection looks killer!! i like whatever PP work you did to it. i think a slight crop off the bottom solves that problem. glad you had a great day. hope the weather hangs in there!!!

I really like this one. Really pulled me in...I like it as presented, possibly lighting up the bottom strip may strengthen it but I think it is needed. Very nice!!! One of my favorites.

Jules, a beautiful image. I think maybe lighter on the bottom would work but love it as it is.:)
