Canon 24-105mm IS zoom lens handheld at 92mm. ISO 200. Evaluative metering +2/3 stop: 1/2 sec. at f/22 in Tv Mode. The IS on the short lenses is pretty astounding; note the sharp rocks at 1/2 sec.

Didn't you post this one in Landscape http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=51682 awhlie back:confused: Just busting:) This is one of my favorite all time blurs that I have ever seen. The colors and the water flow come together very nicely.
I thought that I did but was hurting for a weekly theme image. Was sure that nobody would remember this one. I am busted. ps: Thanks for your kind words.
ps: I did lighten it for this posting :)
Yes you did and it looks great.:)
Artie, the sharpness of the rocks is amazing - I love the contrast between the rocks and the soft movement of the waves. I think it would also be nice with a slice off the top (and I can't believe I am suggesting changing
something so perfect:))
I really like the contrast between the rocks and the water also! Great blurry action of the water going in different directions. Love the colors too...
Nice image...transition of the Blue water in LRC, the blurry froth, to the sharp stones...nice colors...TFS
I also remember this one from before :D
Very beautiful Artie - I love the contrast between the softness of the water and the sharpness of the stones.
Best,
Nicki
Artie,
Greetings. The color and texture (the almost feather-like texture of the water ;) ) does it for me... red rocks contrast nicely... thanks for posting this.
Cheers,
-Michael-
Amazing composition, Artie. What I like most about this image is the contrast between the sharp rocks and blurred water. Perfectly exposed and beautiful colors.
