...in which our hero succumbs to the ecstasy of the dance...
This is actually the macaw splashing itself with water, but, with the Carnival theme in mind, I thought that it lent itself to the idea of ecstatic dance... :D

Loving this series, Nicki. :) Beautiful colors and it does give the strong impression of wild, ecstatic dancing.

Nicki, I think you achieved your goal w/ this image. It really does have the feel of wild, ecstatic dancing. Very beautiful series and since we spoke about it in Florida I have been dying to see your Carnival Series. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us all.

I like it a lot for the reasons noted above but could probably do without the white. What was the white; water?

Christopher, Denise and Artie thanks so much for your very kind words - much appreciated :)
Artie, the white streaks are water but the larger patch towards the URC is the bird's face - you can just make out the eye if you look closely :D
Best,
Nicki

Nicki, a perfect ending. I love the eye - it gives it a Phantom of the Opera feel to it. Thanks for sharing your
creation:)

Cheryl, thanks so much for your very kind words. I too like the eye. Artie, I can see that there might be some logic to your crop, but when you see a print of this the white area is needed to add some perspective and balance (in a strange sort of way!).
I'll post the last in the series later today.
Best, Nicki
