I had a chance to get out last night after work and caught this gator at sunset.
1/4 sec., f/22, ISO 100, 100-400L lens.
I adjusted shadows and highlights, then added a slight Nike GND filter to brighten up the top.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Cheryl, The soft dreamy colors are fantastic. The slow moving feel is conveyed so well here. I love it!:)

Beautiful composition, Cheryl. Love the colors and contour on the water. The crop works well. Selectively brightening the eye region may help to make it a bit more dramatic, IMHO.

Hi Cheryl, Lovely feel to this! The soft colors and sense of motion are great. The gator looks rather sinister. Very nicely done. :)

Nice image and application, Cheryl.
Like the softness of the image, while conveying the feel and subject.

I like the look. This may sound strange but I think that this might have worked better if the gator were swimming into the light rather than into the dark...

Thanks for your comments, everyone.:) Artie, I had other images but they were darker, this was the lightest
area that he was in (which wasn't for long) and it was almost 8 p.m. I was ready to pack up when he(or she)
appeared for a minute or two.
