Inspired by co-leader and friend Robert O'Toole, I created this image in NOV 2007 with the tripod-mounted Canon 600mm f/4L IS lens and the EOS-1D MIII. ISO 50. Evaluative metering +2/3 stop: 1 sec. at f/22. Robert had introduced 1/2 second plus blurs to the group and me the year before.

Lovely colours and it really has a nice wind blown look.

It certainly needs to be hanging on a wall somewhere.
Artie, I too love the colours in this. Might be tempted to crop off the beige stripe at the bottom of the image.

Love the colors here, Artie. The feathers are really flying:D Great capture. I can see how a tripod would help getting a good blur. Unfortunately I'm unable to carry mine any distance.
I think this is one of my favorite blurs of yours, Artie. Lovely colors and the soft sense of motion is beautiful. On another note, it also makes me think of a pillow fight in a windstorm. ;)
Artie, I love the rich colors. It also reminds me of an aerial shot of wave caps. I like the beige strip - it seems to anchor it.
Artie, It's beautiful. The flowing soft lines of the Geese along with the gorgeous colored BG all come together nicely.:)
