This is beautiful, Denise. It feels like the colors are exploding out of the tulip. Excellent use of the filters.
Denise,
Very lovely and soft, and yet with a dynamic bit of action to capture your attention. Where would I find "radial blur"?
Paul and Nancy, Thank you both very much.
Nancy, Go under FILTER>BLUR>RADIAL BLUR Then check zoom and approx. 45% on the amount, good or best quality. Be sure to start on a separate layer so you can mask back in some details.
Denise, I love those colors and the blur effect. Does PSE have blur?
Julie, Elements 7 has it (probably the others too). Follow the same instructions as given above.:) PS-Thanks for the kind words.
Like the effect D, if it were mine I would put it a bit more off-center, Beautiful colours.
I think I agree with Jackie. Love the effect, but something about the composition isn't right (and I usually like centered images). :)
Thanks ladies, I did try to off center it and even tried to turn it a bit-but couldn't get it quite right. Please feel free to repost a crop. Thanks:)
I tried different crops and rotations. I see what you mean. Here is another version, not necesariy better than the original. I rotated it and cropped the bottomsome. The flare of the right side of my version looks a bit weak. Another one I tried was extending the blur at the top and croping some from the bottom. :)
Anita, I'm not crazy about loosing the stem. I feel it anchors the tulip a bit. Also the top radials feel like they should be going out of the corner or the top to my eye. I do appreciate your efforts and will try to come up with a different version. Thanks.:)
