Bright pixels in Olympus e240

Hi seens a months now a got an olympus e240 and the most times i use it for macro shots , with a lens 35mm zuiko .
i see , that in the images , i see one or two bright pixels , does any one have an idea why this happens ? .
could this be a sensor problem , maybe dirt , or something from the lens ? .

A bright pixel is called a hot or stuck pixel. All cameras have them. Hot pixels can be more apparent with longer exposure times and/or higher temperatures. You might contact the manufacturer and see if they can map them out (they get interpolated). For less severe hot pixels, if you take some dark frames at the same temperature, you can subtract the dark frame from your regular exposure and correct the offset, recovering some image information. Stuck pixels do not change value with light, so contain no information. You can just correct them with a clone tool or healing brush.
