This is another in my study of tree trunks forms in the abstract, though real world. This image was taken at Merritt Island NWR on a less than productive birding outing day.
Modifications in PS4 included; Accented Edges, Poster Edge, Vibrance & Saturation, Hue & Saturation, Shadow & Highlight, Variations and Brightness & Contrast adjustments.

Nice abstract image Mark. Maybe you should consider putting your abstract images together in a BPN Gallery. :) I like the color and the texture, the highlights are just enough to add interest.
Interesting combinations of tones and textures Mark. Like your framing too.
Very organic feel to this one Mark. Interesting contrast between the light and dark areas.
