Firebird - Fractaliused

Was fooling around with the Fractalius Plug in and quite liked the way this one came out. Looks like I did hours of PS work, but it was so simple. Pretty much the Glow-100 preset...

I like it. You might try a version with a blacker BKGR. What is the species?

Jim, Nice job with the filter. The Glow 100 looks great. I think if you masked back in just a little more detail in the eye it would really stand out as special. Very nicely done.

Like the fract treatment on this image, Jim. Suggests 'Firebird' to me:)

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually did lighten the eye a bit already, but I will try your idea as well.

I believe the species is a red-tail hawk???

Sorry Artie, should have been more clear. It was at a county fair in captivity (wish I had a lens this long to get a shot in the wild this close :))

Super Fract image, Jim! Agree that more sharpness in the eye would be great and a little darker BG would be nice but this is also lovely. I'm amazed at what the Fract did to the inside area of his eye...that is wild!

Stunning! Love the "fiery" frac work, really pops against the dark BG. The eye is superb. :)
