Theme Winners!

Once again, this has been a very difficult week to pick winners! Over thirty entries and they are all excellent. While the theme wasn't limited to the floral Ron van Dongen style, it was the flowers that came on strong! Here are my picks for top five:

First place - Homage to Van Dongen by Jackie Schuknecht Elegant simplicity and super tribute to the style

Second place - Pillows of Softness by Barbara Kile Strong composition and delicate detail fading to softness

Third place - Philippine violet (the repost) by Indranil Sircar Great job on this one and excellent example of the style

Fourth place - Little Stars by Christopher Miller Lovely use of just a bit of color Christopher!

Fifth place - Curve-billed Thrasher by Gus Hallgren I just love that eye peeking out and the minimalist style

The quality of posts in OOTB has become nothing short of amazing to me! Please don't get discouraged if your image didn't win - all who participate are winners in my book!! Thanks to all who submitted images.

Kerry, You did a fantastic job judging this week. All of the images were great. I agree with you that the posts have become nothing short of amazing.

Congratulations to all the winners...I wouldn't have wanted to pick this weeks winners, so many lovely images..if I could I would have picked them all..Kerry great job...

I think this has been one of our toughest themes. I was surprised to be chosen as they were all pretty wonderful. Kerry thanks for judging. And of course thanks to Anita who creates some pretty inspiring stuff.

We should all thank Anita Bower for the exemplary images she posted and for providing the inspiration for the theme! :)

Good point Kerry. Anita really was a great inspiration for this theme. Her image in Macro really caught my eye.:)
