Barbara, I like the composition and your software application. My eye is drawn into the center of the flower. Nice detail and depth.:)
Very pretty Barbara. Love the small amount of detail against the softness! My eye is wishing there was a bit more canvas on the bottom, but this doesn't detract from the image as presented. Nice!
Very delicate swirl that plays with my eyes until they get rewarded with the center. Well done!
Barbara, I'm loving the center of the flower sooo much. I usually suggest a 2 pixel black border for web presentation to help define an image BUT I'm thinking your intention may have been to have the softness fade into the background. Which would be a perfect compliment to this lovely flower. You are onto something w/ the copper tone!
lovely. i like composition and softness and one point of focus. beautiful w on w.
I think like Kerry I'd prefer that beautiful center up and to the right a bit more but this is so lovely I really don't care. ;) I can't believe you did this at f11...I'd have guessed more like 2/8 or 4. Wow!
Thanks everyone. I forgot to mention that I had the 500D close up filter screwed onto the 105 macro, so that affected the depth of field, thus the f/11. And, you're right Denise, a stroke would have helped define the image - but like you said, could have affected the image focus somewhat. Appreciate all the feedback!
Yes, it's a great piece of glass, as are the Nikon diopters. I use a 77 mm as it will fit my largest lens and use step rings so it will fit on the macro lens. The 500 D is not expensive, but might as well only buy one!
Beautifully done, Barbara. Love the softness swirling to the cluster:)
