Feathers

I took some images of Flamingo feathers today and had this theme in mind. My thoughts were to show the texture in a very de-saturated way. I added a small amount of texture in the color channel and desaturated and cropped the original. I also did a version using more pink than peach but this color just fit better w/ the Flamingo feathers IMO.

Nice image..flamingo's have lovely long feathers, and every bird has a slightly different pattern..texture and colors work, fits the theme

Beautiful and very subtle, Denise. I probably would have taken some off the left side of the frame where the pink is missing but I also like the crop as is.

Thanks folks I appreciate the feedback. A crop on the left would interrupt the flow of the bottom row of feathers IMO.
