This was created from the imprint of bark scorpions left on the inside of bark from an Oak tree. Probably perished from an old forest fire, or back in the Ice Age J
The abstract was created completely using CS4 >Filters >Filter Gallery >Sketch >Notepaper. Experiment with 3 Sliders with “Image Balance” creating the most noticeable detail effects. Light or Dark original also makes a big difference in color.

I can see the scorpions, Uncle Gus. And I love them. they're my Zodiac sign. How fantastic to have seen them. Your intensive filter works for me.
