Nice image. I like the wispy windblown feel of the feathers and the strong contrast against the backround. I would like to see how this would look with a bit of masking to bring back some detail in the face......just a thought.
Good use of Frac to create a lovely vibrant image. I do agree with Dave about masking back some detail in the face. And toning down the white line of the bottom (foliage) might stop leading my eyes out of frame, particularly on the right.
Just my two cents, I agree with Dave and Kora, I think you would have an exceptional image if you could mask the eye and beak back again. The feathers are absolutely awesome here.

Kevin, You nailed the soft wispy look to the feathers. I also feel that some detail in the face area would put this over the top. Excellent look achieved here.:)
Ditto above comments. Lovely pose Kevin.
I'm another one who thinks a bit of detail in the face would also be nice but what a lovely feel to this, Kevin!
I don't have anything to add to what's already been said. Very nice image, Kevin, excellent feel. :)
Double ditto on the need for detail in the face. Love the feathers. Fracting loves herons and egrets!
