I used the Fractalius Filter. Using a soft glow pre-set that I created by starting with the Glow 100 and making some adjustments.:)

I do wish for a slightly better HA.

Hi Denise, I think this image has alot of fine qualities. The frac filter worked well here showing off the display and wispiness of the feathers. I think the HA is fine along with a beautiful green coloration. Black backround also makes the image pop with the subject having pleasing even lighting.Well handled....
Hi Denise, Love the image and would love to see the original. You got the pose that you were going for with all the feathers behind the bird's head. What a gorgeous bird. I love the gentle Fract on the feathers. I do think that the whites are way too dark. Been there done that. Hope that I did not over-do it on the repost. :)
Dave and Artie, Thank you very much.
Artie, The repost looks good thanks!:)
Ooops. I am with Denise on the head angle. A bit more would be better. Why? Because the bird is angled more towards us than the head. :)
Hi Denise
Wow! Out of sight, very beautiful photo and Artie gave it the icing on the cake.
I love it and IMHO I think it's your best.
Many thanks for sharing this beauty.

BTW: With the same price and the bonus of your expertise, it's a "no brainer" to buy from your link.
Hi Denise,
I actually prefer the tones on your original - they are so pretty. The treatment works really well on this - BTW I have a shot of the same bird but taken from the reverse angle - I'll post it in a couple of days!
Hugs,
Nicki
Thanks Gus and Nicki, I appreciate the very kind words.:)
Gus, That is so nice of you to say.
Nicki, I can't wait to see some of your new Carnival color stuff too.:)
Denise, I'll definitely post some of it very soon - having to catch up at work this week...
I like Arthur's head area but prefer your softer back feather area. It's a really beautiful image though:) Kora
Beautiful image, Denise! Love the comp and pose with all the feathers fanned out. Very nice effect and the black BG sets off the bird perfectly.
Beautiful feather display and wonderful black BG, think I like the lighter version because it brings out the eye and the lore more. Very nice Frac work.
