Very nice, Mark. I like the head-on view and the image has a nice watercolor look to it. Looks maybe a little tight on top for my taste. Well done.
Mark, A bit tight on top as mentioned by Christopher BUT this is one of my favorites of yours. I love the painted effect by the DAP filter. The framing works nicely.
Thanks for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.
You may have noticed he is stooped over! ;) Low ceiling! :o :D
Hehehe, he looks like he's ready for a fight, he may take Rocky down :) Well done!
I really like how flipping the image resulted in sort of a simpler, abstract shape. The aquarell treatment is very nice too. I decided to buy DAP after seeing some of the images here and can't wait get better at using it.
The thing I like most about this image and haven't been able to reproduce yet, is those finer lines. I have only been able to play with it for about half an hour though, so I guess I might have to be a little more patient. :)
Thanks for viewing and comments Fabs. Appreciate it.
Yes, he is a real fighter! :D

Welcome to OOTB forum. Come in and enjoy the many friends and learn many things here.
Keep trying. The image is a combination of DAP and PS4 adjustments. DAP is a matter of getting use to and trying different settings. It is primarily the watercolor application here. PS4 has many options to modify and adjust the image. One of them that I like and used here is Ink Outline. That is what you may be refering to as the finer lines. When you use it in PS4 an adjustment screen comes up and you use the sliders to reach the settings you desire.
I put the image into PS4 first and get it close to what I want and then DAP the image. If needed, I return to PS4 for additional adjustments.
Good Luck and have fun! :D
Thanks for the additional information! I just posted my first attempt at an aquarell effect here: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...288#post454288
I'm afraid I am not very good at using the Ink Outline filter yet. I tried, but couldn't get it to do what I wanted. However, I found some information on how to use Topaz Adjust and Simplify and used them before applying the DAP Aquarell preset instead.
