Took 2 photos in the early morning, and this was one of them. thenI did a combo water colour and oil painting with a big dash of CS4 & a smidgen of Corel PSP X2 for flavour. :D

Very cool, Uncle, lucky you to have them hummers around. I may go back on the BG texture a bit, I think it over powers the bird.
Gus, Nice painted effect and texture. Nice detail on the hummer and the blurred wings look good w/ the painted look. Love the capture also.:) Agree w/ Fabs regarding the texture.

Gus another lovely hummer. I might even go for a smooth BG as I find the textures are competing for one-another. Nice colours on the hummer.

Yes I think the BG is not competing as much:) and puts more attention on the bird.
