While helping out on the SW FLA IPT, Denise created some really cool blurs using extremely slow shutter speeds. I created this one with the handheld 70-200mm f/4L IS lens and the EOS-1D MIV. ISO 200. Evaluative metering +2 stops: 1/8 sec. at f/14.
Feeding situation. Eye brought up a smidge.
Don't be shy; all comments welcome.

This is cool Artie. I think blurs are growing on me. Looking forward to our week with 1/8 sec assignment.

Artie, I already told you I think this is a cover shot. Beautiful amount of blur and the colors are soft and pleasing. I also like the name:)

This is beautiful. I love the colors. I have a 70-200 f4L. Is there hope for those of us without a 500mm?:D

Nice sense of movement, Maestro. The sand on the upper right I'm not sure about.

Thanks all. Fabs, I like the stuff in the URC. I actually moved it there from the ULC :)

Beautiful blur, Artie. Has a great sense of motion while still retaining plenty of detail in the bird. I like the soft colors. Personally I would remove the sand in the URC, but that's just my opinion.
