This is my first effort, inspired by Fabs.
I shot this image a few days ago in the interior of Yellowstone. I used Color Efex Pro and added a glamor glow, then in Lightroom 2 I used negative clarity to really give the image a dreamy feel. A slight crop from the bottom and right.

Mike, I had heard that clarity would do that and had totally forgotten about it - thanks for the reminder! I love this image...so soft and serene but it still has focus. I especially love the color of the water...beautiful!

My buddy is here!!!!!! Beautiful scene, those birds are so elegant!!! Glamour Glow is one of my fav filters, I have to try that neg clarity business, it sounds interesting.
My Baffins are waiting....:p:cool:

Mike, I really like the Glamour Glow effect and the scene is lovely. Big welcome to OOTB. If it were mine I might put it a bit lower in the frame.

I like the dreamy feel very much. Not sure why but the image just appears a little tilted to me. Otherwise I think your first effort is rather nice. :)

Hi Mike, Lovely dreamy feel and perfect subject for it. It looks to me like the image could use a little CW rotation to straighten it, and personally I would like to see a little more detail in the right-hand swan.

Love the dreamy look and the wing flap. For me, it would be much stronger without the 2nd bird. A crop is possible.

Very nice image and application, Mike.
I would agree with Artie in dropping the second bird. It doesn't seem to match the soft focus effect of the right swan. But your image ... your vision.
