Lately I've been coming across little blues everywhere I go and I'm loving them especially when you punch up the colors a bit (just for fun).
saw this guy at loop road and took the shot from the car window.
applied nik tools: center brighten/border darken; brilliance; burned the edges in ps cs 4 and applied some topaz to it. this is the result.

Michael, I love the punched up color of the bird also. I might add a layer of black on top of the image and just reveal the bird -eliminating the green from the BG. if it were mine. I think it's a tiny bit tight on top. I love the pose and the feather detail.

Had to get my sunglasses for this one! :D He looks great in that blue suit. I like how you can still see all the feather detail even with the saturation jacked up.

You have some real nice detail in the feathers. It's a very nice image and the color boost is pretty cool and in my opinion works. Agree with Denise about the BG.

I like the pose and details, Michael. The punched up color adds a nice touch while still looking natural. Agree on it being a bit tight on the top.

Like this one better than the last blue Michael. BG is simpler and makes the heron stand out more. Love the colours you are getting. Think a bit more room up top would be great.
