This is a composite of 2 images. The barn with the window and another barn and tree. I merged the barn and tree into the window and added a rough pastels filter to the window. The original window had a reflection of a tree but I could not get the reflection I was going for, hence I decided to add a fake one...

I like the scene in the window Nick, and the contrasting red and blue. Might give the boards a bit more sharpening. Really nice pastoral scene and treatment in the window.

Love the bold colors with the white separating the red and blue. The "fake" tree looks very real. Great job.

Great work with the combo of the 2 images. Did you intend for your 'painterly lines' to be just on the glass of the window or also on the wood of the window? Beautiful colors in both images.

Nick, Some great suggestions already made. I agree w/ sharpening the boards a bit and erasing the spill over of the image on the muntin. The effect you did on the image in the window looks great. I might take a small amount off the left if it were mine. The red, white and blue color scheme is a winner! Very nicely done.

Hi Nick, nice work on the composite! I like the colors and the idea of the strong reflection in the glass. Would be good to remove the texture effect from the window frame... Agree with sharpening the barn a bit and could even add a bit of saturation. Quite nice!

Very nice image, Nick! I like the color scheme. The weathered window and boards have lots of character, and great work adding the reflection. Ditto the suggestions already given. Well done.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. A slow day in the office so I played with it on my laptop. Let me know what you think. I may go back to the originals and re-do it when I get a chance.
