Denise, this is really beautiful. I love your pre-set - it produces such soft images (hence the name:)). The
snowstorm adds a nice dimension to it. We have foxes that visit our property but I haven't gotten any
pictures of them - I need to make that a priority.
Really nice feel, like a painting...snow looks great! I love the pose with him "licking his chops"
What a great capture with the wonderful expression - and I love the snow effects and soft detail. Awesome shot!
Fabs is going to love this one, Denise! That tongue really takes it over the top for me. It gives him a real personality - that's for sure! Beautiful technique - so soft and yet so detailed.
Beautiful capture and technique, Denise. The snow adds a nice touch, and I love that tongue! :)
This is incredible Denise. you have such a clever way of combining effects. :)
Great effect. Love the tongue. Is that "snowstorm action" somewhere??
Nick, It is one of Dave Seerum's actions. I think Jackie posted a link for it in one of her snow themed images back when we did snow week. I'll see if I can find it.
Thank you all for your kind words.
Nice image and application, Denise.
I would suggest considering recropping it to bring the eyes into the UR1/3 corner and a slight crop on the top with added canvas on the bottom (see attached quick crop), if it were mine. While a little tighter on top, I think that the value of the 1/3 rule would offset it in this case. But ...
Your image ... your vision.
Mark, Thanks for your suggestions, personally I don't like it that tight on top -it looks a bit clipped. But that is just my preference. I appreciate you taking the time.
Beautiful composition, Denise. The fract and snow storm adds a lot to it. It is your base image with the licking tongue makes it stand out composition.
Indranil, Thank you for your kind words. I love the fur and can't stop fracting it:eek:
Too, too cool. I too much prefer the original COMP. Where does the snow come from? I love the look of the ground especially to our right. Would love to see a version with more contrast on the fox, esp. the face. Then you could lose the two snowflakes on the nose.
Here is Dave Seeram's free download action for creating snow.

Artie, Good ideas and I will give it a try. As you can see Jackie provided a link for the snow action I used. It's a free action and I used the gentle snowstorm.
Jackie, Thanks I appreciate it. Saved me some searching!:)
You are welcome D. Nice treatment BTW. I would kill for your soft preset. I just love the effect:D
Jackie, Thanks I appreciate it. I will see if I can figure out what it is I did and I will write it down if I do. :)
Thanks gals for the snow job :).
I like the soft effect and can't believe this is the same filter used for your glowing images. I think you have just enough detail and softness here. Great pose. The snow adds a nice touch.
Artie, YAW:)
Michael, Thank you for the kind words.
