This is the same rose that I've been working on this week, but with another texture. The tonalities and this texture here led me to paint off more texture from the rose. A straight musical staff didn't do much for the rose, so by painting off more of the texture (which had varying opacities anyway) it made the rose 'stand out' a bit more.

Barbara, I love this! The BG overlay is very nice. I do wish the BF wasn't on the edge. The aged look and color toning is lovely.:)

I wondered about the butterfly....... it's part of the texture, but can be distracting. Clone tool!:)
Thanks, Denise!

Barbara, this is beautiful. I love the texture and I like the butterfly although not right on the edge, maybe
moved to the llc?

Barbara, I think I like this version even better than the other! Love the colors and texture, and the sheet music BG complements the rose very well. I'm divided on the butterfly. Part of me likes it, but part of me thinks it's a bit distracting. Maybe moving it as suggested would be an improvement.
Very well done. :) Now I have to decide on the winners for this theme! :D

Lovely images, Barbara. Really like the tone on tone. The texture selection is great. And the butterfly really does not bother me. Well done.
