I thought I would try using Fractalious with something a bit different and then logged on to see Denises' beautiful cabin shot. Anyway I tried to make this feel a bit on the late evening or a more sullen, sinister feel. Tried a bit more blue, but just didn't like the look. All thoughts appreciated.

Dave, Would it be possible for you to post a copy of the original image-so that we could see what you started with?:)

This is the original shot with normal lightroom and photoshop adjustments for exposure, levels, and clarity before the fractalious filter was added.

Dave, Thanks, If it were mine I might experiment w/ leaving the trees more natural and maybe bringing some of the leaves back. This image to me may look better with just a soft hint of fractalius. It has a lovely look to it as is. I do like the color tones in your frac. work :)

Denise, those sound like some really good suggestions. Unfortunately I will have to wait until I return from New York. I'm leaving for the city early tomorrow morning. The good side is that I love Manhatten. Look out B&H. :D Thanks again for your thoughts.
