Bill, This really does look old. The tear in the top of the image is a great touch! Color tones and vignette add to the age. Nicely done.
Great job! The frame on this really reminds me of photos in my families "box" of old photos.
Nice work, Bill! Great sepia tone and details. The frame adds a lot to the old feel. The only thing I'm not sure about is the tear. I feel it distracts a bit from the bird and doesn't quite look believable enough. Maybe it would look better if you erased it from the frame and shortened it so it's not touching the bird.

Like the tear (crack). Would agree however to confine it to the image area. Saw a lot of those in the last few months of photo restoration work I did. Maybe just a little bit more opacity would also make it more realistic for the image.

I agree with Christopher...I love the tear but not over the bird's face/eye. I'd move it to the 10 o'clock position and bring it in that way.
