Ken, Welcome to OOTB! I like the Orton effect and the bright bold color of your Cosmo. An interesting angle and the black BG really makes this pop.:)

I knew you'd make it down here sooner or later! Beautiful cosmos! It practically glows...nice, intense color against the black yet it doesn't feel overdone. I love how the light seems to be filtering through the petals.

Eventually I'll make it into most of the critique forums but bugs and flowers are my favorite things to shoot so I'll concentrate on them for now. :)

I was looking for sweat bees on the flowers when the sun hit this one just right and it really did glow. I had no choice but to snap a few shots of it.
