Used my usual technique for the same bird as last post(different pose).
I could have cloned out some, or most, of the branches, but they seemed to form a frame(sort of) and didn't seem too distracting.

Bill, I love your usual technique and it looks great here. I too think that the branches frame the bird nicely. Very nice pose and eye contact. Color toning and pale blue sky BG are nice.

Like the off center placement, I'm not one for centering the birds.
Not a major problem with the branches, as Denise noted. I might just clip the larger branch off the bottom branch at the left border to bring it into the frame, but not a need. Just seems that maybe it would do something to the image. I wouldn't remove it, just trim it a little. But ...

Beautiful work on the bird, Bill - the detail is sharp without being overdone. I could stare at it for a very long time. I also like the branches that form the frame...might consider taking off the small ones that are near the tail if that's possible but I'd leave the rest.
Bill, I really love this. The lighting is very, very nice. I agree with Julie on evicting the lower branch by the
tail. I like the arching branch that helps frame the bird.:)
Bill this is awesome..If I didn't know you created it, I swear it was a Bateman...removing a few branches would help...but very nice effect
