Not sure how you did this..but sure would love to know...very well done and out of the box
Gary, Very cool effect and I too would be interested in how you did this. I think you could prob. mask back in some details in the eye and bill for a bit of a different look w/ this technique. Nicely presented.
Hot image and application. Neat!
Let us know the rest of the story... as the others say. But very interesting effects.
Learned this last night off of the NAPP website with Cory Barker in the planet photoshop area. Awesome stuff in there. Very new to this photography thing and especially out of the box. But, the more I learn the cooler it is getting. I beautiful wife gave me the subscription to NAPP for Christmas and it is extremely worth it.
Ok, basically thru photoshop, went in and define edges under filters, reduced the saturation to zero therefore only giving the outlines, inverted the image givng a black background and white outlined image. Then thru the use of layer styles created the colors. inner and outer glow. The flames were created with the smudge tool and radial blur. Thanks for viewing!
Gary, Thanks for sharing your workflow. Very cool!
I agree that masking in the eyes and bill would really take this over the edge - neat idea!
Gary, a very cool image:) Thanks for the workflow.
Ditto on thanks of workflow...
