Very nice image. Fish is a bonus. It looks a little flat so I did a few things, hope you don't mind. Will remove if you want. Levels, selective saturation (mainly beak/eye area and feet/fish), slight boost in contrast on eagle. See what you think. TFS

Beautiful pose and nice BG. you did very well with exposure and IQ is still good despite the crop. Agree it can benefit from sat. boost.
Very good flight image. I like the angle towards you and the catch a nice bonus.
Nice angle and eye contact, and the fish is a plus. Repost is an improvement. While I love the bird, I find the bg harsh, and would suggest trying to tone it down.
Nice capture, Ralph. I agree that the repost is an improvement and with the suggestion for toning down the background. Perhaps a BDR eagle?

The above is a site that gives the eagle counts for the Lock & Dams of the upper Mississippi River.
Last week not many were counted at Lock & Dam 18.
As you may know, the number of eagles at Black Dog has gone down this past week. The sub-zero weather may have moved some of them.
