hi Ken
lovely soft light here - I wish the angle of shooting were more on the eye level of the bird. It also seems the sharpest focus was on the tail and lower back, leaving the head slightly OOF.
I agree focus is on the tail/lower back area. I like the perch. Had focus been on the face, the perch would have been sharper too. Good look-back pose, and very nice BG.
Lovely pose and beautiful eye contact. Love the clean BG and agree about the focus point. I would like to see a tad more canvas on the right . Many thanks for sharing Ken !!
I agree with above comments, and would also add that the catchlight from the flash is a little much. I love your choice of perches, with the winged elm:)
Great advise above on the focus choice. Neat composition and good complimentary BG and perch.
Beautiful background and perch. Love the eye contact. Agree the focus is more on the tail.
Very good image with nice eye contact, colours and BG. I would also like to see more space on the right.
Thanks to all for the comments!
