I did a water drop image w/ Roman K. and BPN'er, Susan Candelari. I added the fractalius filter to it. I made a custom setting out of a bit of the glow and the soft fix. I had already created. I recropped my original as per Artie's suggestions. Here is the link to the one I posted in Macro. While you are there check out Roman's version-it kicks some___:)

Jackie, Thanks- we put a print of one of Roman's fire images in the BG.(I think he posted it in Macro last week.) The water bowl was a cobalt blue bowl that added beautiful deep blue tones to the image.

Wow. I've seen lots of water drop images and I've even tried it. It is very hard to do. This is the best one I have ever seen! The splash from the drop is perfect. The fire adds such a primitive feeling of the first elements (air, earth, fire and water) and the colors are vibrant and dramatic. I do like the crop. Great job!

Hi Denise
Fascinating image. With Cindy's mention of lava, it put me in mind of Pele- Goddess of Fire. Having lived on the Big Island of Hawaii for 5 years when I first retired we camped many nights in Volcano Park and were fascinated by the lava flowing down into the sea spewing up masses of steam. Also created a new black sand beach.
Your exquisite image brought back a lot of great memories, as I met Gina there,
Thanks for sharing another touch of class creation.
