Nice image Peter! I like the eye, sharpness, and composition. The area where you stopped the blurr along the edge of the bird and the perch is too obvious though :)

Focus looks good and the colours are nice with the red eye providing a nice focal point, Peter. I agree with Ryan that a bit more time finessing the masking of the BG blur would be worth the effort. Thanks, I looked at it a few times until I felt that the background was nice enough, then I looked at it again and really noticed the obvious blurring ha, I need to work on my technique
