D2Xs, 600, ISO 250, f8, 1/250, -0.3EV, fill @ -1.0 EV. Drip Pond set-up.
Here's an oldie that I don't believe I have posted. This was taken on a perch that I set up over a drip pond during Spring migration.

I know you are good and now I see you are lucky as well. One fine image , again. BG is killer and I love the fact that the pine needles in the upper left help to frame the subject. OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Beautiful image Alan. I would like to see the bird a little bit more to the left.

Hi Alan, as always, you technicans are spot on. The pine needles in the top left corner are distracting to me, if there were more of them shown I would not be so distracted. Background is awesome.

Lovely light, BG, perch and pose. Bee is a bonus. The needles balance the comp nicely to my eye.

You tell interesting stories with the images you make, this one is a fine example.
Exceptional.
Congrats on a fine set-up guide as well.

Everything is as it should be! Where you get the "bonus pts" are from the upper left hand corner with the addition of habitat for balance and the bug! Kudos!!
