This is a nice shot Peter! I like the perch, the sharpness and the background. I'd run some NR on the BG, and maybe take it a bit tighter on the left, I don't think you need so much space :). Overall though, great shot!
Thanks Ryan, I think I might have had another edit of this that was vertical with much less space on the left, but I will definitely have to go back and run some NR on it
I like the angle, eye contact and sharpness and only wish the branch in the BG behind the tail were not there. Your signature is a bit distracting, I would put it in a corner. Keep them coming!

The top of a hummer's head should be rounded. This bird has been either attacked or injured as there is a chunk missing from the top of its head and the feathers are in disarray as a result.
No, not at all. That is a big gash. If you want, post it in Avian ID and behavior, ask them what's going on with the bird's head, and see what responses you get.
