This to me is a very nice capture.

I find nothing in it distracting and my eye is drawn directly to the birds head, neck, eye... and my attention is held for some time.

Very nice capture Suzanne! Great sharpness and wings. It would have been better if the bird were angled more toward you but this is very nice. I opened this in PS and rotated 2.8 degrees CW, which seems to look a bit better to me, although the product was a bit tight. If you have more room on the original, you might consider this!
