I used some of the filters that Dave gave us all the link for. I first started with a find edges layer then added a soft glow filter, then an illustrated filter, soft glow again(masking back in some details as I went) then a radiant filter and then a separate layer for a gaussian blur and a gradient BG and then a blizzard filter. I was trying to get a soft pastel look.

Love the soft pastel colors and feel to this, Denise. Nice combo of filters. I'm not sure I like the blizzard effect though; I might remove it in favor of a plain gradient BG. I also would probably mask back in the original eye.

Thanks Christopher, The original eye looked too dark against the pastels IMO. I agree that the blizzard may not look too good. I was going to do some texture and should have stuck to that. Already discarded the file so I will just try a new one. :) I appreciate the feedback.

love the pastel colors.....definitely your style.
Agree about the bg, the eye is a tough cal, maybe make it a bit smaller and even lighter?

Interesting image Denise.
Might help to have some detail in the body area. A light application of ink outline or poster edge might help. But ...
Your image ... your vision. Obviously from your post it did not meet your vision, so just a suggestion. ;)
