Theme - Recreate - Pigeon II

Took a little more time with this one to find the vision. Used both DAP Felt Tip and Photoshop CS4 for the transformation.


Modifications include; DAP Felt Tip, with settings modified for Paintery Palette, full range of brush sizes, modification of Faithful and Realism adjustment to more impressionist, maximum time for Detail Brushes, Precision Quality, Portrait mask of bird and Maximum Dry Brush reveal time.

Additionally, following DAP processing, the following modifications were done in Photoshop CS4; Poster Edge, Dry Brush, Diffused Glow, Brightness & Contrast adjustment, Hue & Saturation adjustment, Mosaic Tile Texture and Craquelure effect.


I liked the olde world look of this and the mosaic tile texture and craquelure effects just seemed to fit the design.

Mark, Very nice rendition of this. I like the colors and textures. I would prefer the tiles only on the BG but it is still a very nice piece of work! Well done.

This has a very appealing, mysterious, "dark" look to me. The dove appears to be caged. Very interesting interpretation and nice to look at. Appreciate your steps.

Denise, as the image developed before me in the various steps, I viewed it as a tiled art work on the wall, hence the deeper grout lines. I personally wished I could have created wider tiles, but that is the limitations of the program. It's the first time I've used that filter, so may have to try a few others.
