Sorry for the absence, but life is in the way right now. Stopped by and had a few minutes to try this at the end of the day.
One comment I would make, for those submitting images, is it would be nice to have a wider image, non cropped, to allow for adjustment. I will try cloning on a future one if I get the time, but this one is tight and cropping would not be an option. While it's a personal choice, I would prefer more room in this one to adjust the placement of the bird in the frame. Not to say the image on its own is unbalanced, but just that I would have preferred a little more off center and it would be nice to have that option, if the original allows.
The modifications used, all in Photoshop, include; Poster Edge, Paint Dabs, Rough Pastels, Diffused Glass, Twirl, Color Spot.
Good luck with yours and Enjoy!

Mark, You did a good job keeping some of the details w/ all those filters. I think you could tone down a portion of the perch and bird just a bit and still maintain that glow.

I agree Denise. It was a quick transformation that looking again could use some more adjustments. But I liked the BG and the effects. The next one is better!

I like the golden glow on the bird! It really looks great with the BG colors.
