Abstract of the caladium plant leaf. One that is quite common in gardens...has pronounced veins. The orig was pink that I changed to orange using color temp control in RAW conversion process.
40D. 85 f/1.8 with extension tube at f/1.8. iso 320. 1/250.
All opinions welcome. Thx in advance.

Great DOF, KD - it's very shallow but you have a great place for the eye to rest on the curve of the leaf and the colors swooping down from the top of the frame really place the eyes at just the right place. Lovely image.

Beautiful soft selective focus. I like the color tones and the composition. Nice color conversion-it looks natural.

Very nice, Kaustubh. Beautiful colors and composition. I like the shallow DOF, but I think I'd prefer the in-focus area to be a tiny bit sharper.

I'm really loving this image. It helps that orange is my favorite color but the color combo, selective focus all work together perfectly. I could stare at this image for a long time! Very nicely done.

Thx everyone. Christopher....agree that the sharpness should have been better.
