Hi:
This is one of my favourite photos. King Vulture from Brazil and photographed at Reid Park Zoo, Tucson, AZ. 11/20/2008. It was a bit difficult as he was behind some silver vertical bars, and I had to crowd myself beside a fence, focus on a point I estimated to be the same distance as the Vulure was from me behid the bars to have a DOF that might not put any focus on the bars.
I did this painting in Corel Painter 11.
CC's welcome and always appreciated
Keep smiling

Howdy Gus. Certainly a very fun image and the colours simply rock !!!. I find its very much like a glass effect and a heavy oil look to it. Very, very nice. Just jumps off the page with the wonderful bold colours.
All the best Gus.
Danny.

Gus, This has a very Starry night look to it. I love how the original eye is so alive! Might be worth revealing some of that since it was nicely captured and is so crystal clear. Very nice effect.

Nice image and application, Gus. Both of them!
Like the colors and feeling of the first and the clarity of the second.

The repost eye is especially for Denise . . .
Must get some real life chores done. We took neighbour gal to hospital Tuesday,
must pick her up in 60 minutes for starters.

Gus, I like them all! The bold colors of the first post really grab my attention. Just the opposite in your original - the softness really appeals to me. The background is beautiful. You did a great job in making the bars disappear.

Hi Folks:
Thank you for your kind comments, much appreciated.
Our neighbour is now OK, though I never heard of 4 days in hospital for a nose bleed.
Just a round of bad luck, and it continued on the way to pick her up with a huge truck and trailer
breakdown that backed up for 4 miles. However, Gina solved the problem by crossing the freeway
on a nearby emergency road, back tracked a mile and took surface streets, getting there 4 minutes late.
My Hero!
Have a great WE
