Vertical pan/motion blur. I particularly like the layered background (from bottom to top - gravel, greass, water, and the yellow is a willow in the background.

Ed, I love the layered look to the BG and the softness that the blur has created. I can see the peeling of the tree-wonderful! I feel it would be stronger w/ a teeny bit off the left and bottom. The golden colors in the willow are gorgeous! Nicely done.
One of the nicer blurs I've seen- it reminds me of Chinese rice paper or a collage. The colors are wonderful and the blur is just right. Very pleasing. :)
I agree with above..one of the nicer ones...like the colors, composed well..
Ditto! This is an extra special tree blur and I think I like it so much for the same reason you state - the layers in the background! They all blend together so nicely and add so much to the final image.
Ed - this may be my favorite of your blurs (but I've loved them all). I especially like the layers in the bg and
the textures. Beautiful job:)
Ed, Very nice blur. There is a very nice thing going on with the layered background. The trees to the left just a bit -for me.
Thanks folks. It was a fun day and fun image to make. I should mention that I did crop a bit from the bottom and left after Denise's comment. See sometimes I agree with you guys! :D;)
