This one was difficult for me. I found some words that I liked and just needed a photo they would go with. I didn't have anything at night that I liked, so I tried converting a daytime photo to nighttime. I chose a dove because of the peaceful sentiment, but I didn't have a white dove - only a Mourning dove - suitable for a Texas card I think.
The most important steps I remember:
I darkened the whole photo significantly and then used masks and lighting effects to get light back on the dove. I selected the rocks below the dove and using Hue/Sat, I slid the saturation to nothing and the brightness up so that the rocks looked like snow (to me at least.) I got rid of the green background also using the Hue/Sat and masking.
Then I ran it through DAP portraitist. It added the "stuff" around the dove which I liked. I blended the DAP output back to get some more of the detail on the dove (eye especially.)
I added the snow (masking out the dove's eye), star, the words and the sparkle in the dove's eye. I put a little white border around it. Done.
Whew. Sure would have been a lot easier if I had a suitable nighttime photo. Hope it was worth the effort.
But, I'd really like to see what you artistic gurus could do with these words if anyone has the time and motivation.

I second that comment from Harold. Fantastic! Very nicely done Patti. The transformation is great. The rocks look just like snow. I think the image really reflects the sentiment very well.
