Early morning mist, interaction with sunlight, and a departing egret. I know you want the bird flying toward you. Sorry. Full frame, no crop.Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

Stunning light and feel to it. Avian is a bit out of my league, but I know what I like.

Bill, I love this one. It has a very peaceful feel to it.The lighting and the color tones are super! The mist adds alot. I don't mind the departure but wish for a slight headturn, but still like the mood alot and would be very happy with this in my files!!

Bill, I really admire your technique and skills. A very pleasant image. Don't let Artie and some of the others hear me say this, but, sometimes birds do fly away from you :D:D:D

Hi Bill, Personally I don't mind the departure here. It seems to fit the mood of the image. Love the lighting!!! :)

I'm glad you all liked it! Indeed, sometimes birds do fly away from us, actually very often! Sometimes good images result, especially with large birds landing, wings spread , and each feather flaring out. It does seem to be a shame to deny capturing such events. regards~Bill
