This is one of my all time favorite water drop photos. The flower is a peony. I posted the original shot of this several months ago in ETL(for those who didn't see it here's the link). For this version, I added a blur overlay, upped the saturation a little bit, darkened the edges with a slight vignette, applied the lens flare filter to the dewdrops to add a bit of shine, and finally added the starbursts using this tutorial: http://www.photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/glints/glint.htm
Any C&C are welcome!

Christopher, I remember this image! Great original image and the new enhancements are terrific!!! Everything about this image including the color is fantastic!! Thanks for the link-I can't wait to try it. I think it will be a great link for the Holiday Greeting Cards Theme that is coming up next.

Nice image and application, Christopher.
You didn't get caught in the frame! Like the color and light reflections caught.

Christopher,
Really love the composition and colors. Like the vignette and starburts effects. Overall excellent imagery. Maybe an artifact in LLC that can be cloned out. At least I see something on my monitor.
Thanks for sharing this really nice photo...

Christopher, A real show stopper. I agree w/ Charles, but very minor clean up. The reflections in the drops are great-are they real? They look awesome.

Thanks everyone! Charles, I see the artifact you mention; I think it's from the lens flare filter. Thanks for pointing it out. Michael, the reflections are real.

Absolutely stunning !!. Both the macro shot and the effects Chris. Impressed with both. What I find with adding star bursts, is that they need to be softened slightly to give a more natural effect. With PS its not so easy. I use different software and that allows a multitude of variations to be done to things like star bursts, flares, etc.
I just love this to put it simply. Fantastic Chris. What a shot !
Danny.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. Danny, this was my first try at adding starbursts to a photo, so I'll most definitely be experimenting more with this effect :)
