This male snowy plover (still has remnants of his breeding black band on his head) was eyeing me from his niche. When lying on your belly in the sand, this is very possibly what you may see through the viewfinder on a regular basis. All the snowies pretty much rest together in a fairly small area. They like finding grooves in the sand in which they can hunker down.

Marina, Big welcome to OOTB! I just love the little peek-a-boo look. Very nice low angle and soft colored BG to go with the look. I like the inclusion of the strip of blue. Nicely done.

Marina, Very sweet little look and the larger composition really makes the plover seem small.

Hi Marina, Love-the-peek-a-boo look! Has a nice minimalistic look, and the plover is positioned perfectly. I like the extra dimension added by the blue strip. Well done!

Very nice composition. Like the layered OOFs and the blue strip on the top. I wish the sand pile on the right of the plover was a bit lower. It seems to compete with the plover, IMHO.

I do like the strip of blue too M. Very nice and unusual image. And the best bit is it's without any special effects. :)

Well executed image! The plover point of view is relayed nicely.
