This is another composition that I've created with all the acorn props I've collected. Any C&C are welcome!
Olympus SP-550 UZ
f8.0 @ 1/20, ISO 200, -0.3 EV
Aperture priority mode, pattern metering
Processed in PS CS2; very slight crop, curves adjustment, channel mixer, cloned out/toned down a couple of bright spots on the leaf, added sepia tone using selective color and hue/saturation, and added a vignette

Christopher, I like the way you have your acorns arranged. The middle (acorn top) could use a bit of sharpening.
I like the color tones and the vignette is well done. I tried an USM on this and I liked it. You could do it selectively.

Thanks Denise. I've added some selective sharpening to the acorn top as suggested, as well as a touch more sharpening overall. Definitely improves it! :)

Christopher, the repost is lovely. I opened the image up and opened levels and noticed that the white slider was not touching the histogram edge. If you scoot that in just a touch the lightest tones will pop a bit more giving even more depth to the piece.
Lovely job on composition - the curves of the leaves and the positioning of the acorns are just perfect. Nice work!
