soooper colors Anita. Not sure the translucency of the big leaf left center helps the image.
It does add interest but seems it doesn't belong.
Nicely balanced otherwise, esp the bed of petals
Anita, You are really exploring your creative side. I like the composition. The one light piece in BG adds dimension-but I think it looks a bit cut-off on the left. Very neat overlay.
HI Anita,
Glad to see you are making it indoors also!!!.....I'm with Dave on the translucent leaf....but for me it may be too much of a color harmony....does that make sense? I do realize that many men like bold colors.....including me......so take this one with a grain of salt.....but i would like a bit of contrasting colors/conflict here....but it may just be me.
Hi Anita, Love the harmonious reds throughout and great composition! Agree with Dave on the translucent leaf.
:)Thank you everyone for your helpful comments. I really appreciate them. I love BPN where I can get honest feedback conveyed in a kind and helpful manner.:)
Beautiful image and colors. Have to agree with the extra leaf. Without that it would be a very worthy image. As is it is still very nice and well done.
:)I appreciate the feedback. Is this an improvement? I'm also going to try using different textures.:)
Anita, It looks like you lightened the BG just a bit. I like it.
Anita, Now I see- I liked the veins-but it looks nice w/o also. I guess it's really just that one light area. I'm thinking if you blended it at the left side a bit more it wouldn't be so prominent.
Anita,
I like the re-post. Thanks for sharing...
