Same photo that I posted in the desaturated forum, but different effect. For this, I took the tritone version and layered it over the color image using soft light blend mode at 60% opacity. I then duplicated the tritone layer setting the second one at normal blend mode at 50% opacity. I also applied the dry brush filter, upped the saturation a bit, and added a vignette. like this version much better.....seems more dynamic and light sculptured.
Confusing color in LRC
Thanks Dave. The confusing color was because of a different colored leaf down in that corner. I've fixed it in this repost.

I agree--I like this version, with warmer tones, better. Beautiful details. The vignette is a bit harsh for my tastes, and too square. Maybe a softer, rounder one?

I do think you nailed it in the re-post....but what I like best as an instuctor...is that you are working your subject....you are not just satisfied taking 1 image and moving on.....you found something appealing and are working the subject and are making some excellent comps. Congrats!!! and very well done!
